Manufacturing reports
There are many reports in Manufacturing modules which work in the same way as the Bill of Materials reports and other reports in Sage 200:
- Register reports
- Estimating reports
- Make to stock reports
- MPS reports
- MRP reports
- Sales forecast reports
- Works Order reports
Sage Report Designer is a separate program with its own help system.
Open: Tools > Run Sage Report Designer.
- Select the data sources you want to work with, for example, manufacturing.
- Select Help to open the Report Designer help or to display help for a window you have open in Report Designer, press F1.
Within Report Designer, you can:
-
Copy the standard reports with alternative names and amending the copies as required.
Open the standard report layout required by selecting it from the appropriate folder on the navigation area; then select File > Save As and save it with a different name.
Note: If you amend the standard reports without copying them first, amendments by Sage to the standard reports will overwrite your changes.
- Create new reports.
- Select File > New to create a new report.
- Edit existing reports.
- Select the report from the relevant folder on the navigation area to open it; make any changes required; then select File > Save.
Note: When you save reports from Report Designer, you must save them in the same folder as their standard equivalent.
You can add new reports to the menus in Sage 200 by using the Menu Edit Mode to add options to the menu.
You can replace standard reports in Manufacturing modules, using the Custom Layouts option in Manufacturing System Manager.
